While industry experience is always beneficial, particularly in horticulture or sports turf, it’s not always essential. What matters most is a strong foundation in administration and IT, including confidence in using Microsoft Office and CRM software.

Many of these positions involve elements of customer service and sales, so previous training in these areas is highly valued. For roles related to finance or accounts, bookkeeping qualifications or relevant experience can be a key advantage. A full UK driving licence is often required for hybrid or site-based roles that involve occasional travel.
